Take home this truly unique piece of art, created by the Aspen and Red Cedar classrooms. The Aspen lower elementary students worked together to handcraft the paper used in this project! Once complete, their paper was passed off to Red Cedar. These primary students first traced heart shapes onto the handmade paper using a special metal insert, then painted their personal designs using oil pastels. Finally, the collection of hearts was set in a stunning floating glass frame.

This cold rolled steel metal sheet, wrapped in a wood frame, created by the Sycamore and Hawthorn Classrooms is a show stopper! The toddler and elementary classes worked together to hand-distress and manipulate the metal using organic materials. It was then weathered for several weeks to create the final look. Bring home this one-of-a-kind art piece that highlights the children’s creativity magnificently.

Look no further for your summer camping adventure. Head just east of Steven’s Pass for a week-long nature filled family getaway to a 20-acre private property overlooking Leavenworth, WA. You and up to 14 guests will be camping in style with the endless outdoor features and amenities including an outdoor kitchen with refrigerator and gas cooking stove, a fire pit and seating for 10, an outdoor shower with HOT and cold water, 6 tent-camping spaces, a bunk house for campers who prefer cot-sleeping, a “lookout” cabin with wood burning stove, 2 state-of-the-art latrines, an 18-hole frisbee golf course, regulation horseshoe pit, and easy access to lots of hiking trails. Whew! Your week will be jam packed with outdoor activities.

The Madrona and Western Hemlock classes have come together to produce three extraordinary home furnishing pieces! Inspired by recycled textiles, the first piece is a hanging tapestry, created from donated old clothing, which were cut in strips and then woven into a beautiful pattern by the children. The second piece is a sofa table, with a one-of-a-kind inset created from the children’s found natural objects, set in a soothing, ombre pattern. An ottoman adorned with a unique needlework pattern completed by the children round out this jaw-dropping entryway collection!
